The
Women's
Club
of
Newburgh
Established 1963
The Women’s Club of Newburgh, Inc., is an organization of diverse women committed to promoting volunteerism and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of its members. Since 1963, the Women’s Club of Newburgh has dedicated its efforts to making our community and the surrounding Warrick County an ideal place in which to live, work and raise a family. The club’s purpose of education and charity is accomplished through fostering interest among the members in social, economic, cultural, and civic affairs of the community. Since 1963 we have given almost three-quarters of a million dollars back to the community.
Newburgh is located on the banks of the Ohio River in Southern Indiana.
Through grants, scholarships to high school seniors, and special collections we support organizations that educate, protect, support, inform, entertain, and enrich Newburgh, Warrick County, and Southwestern Indiana. Our organization is comprised of women of all ages and backgrounds who strive to make a difference for others. We are mothers and grandmothers, sisters, aunts, and daughters. Some of us are single, and some of us are married. We work outside and in the home, we serve on countless boards and committees, and we volunteer for a variety of worthwhile organizations. We rely on the diverse experiences and interests that our members bring to the club as a means of strengthening our impact in the community.
New members are always welcome. If you are interested, please contact a member or email us at thewomensclubofnewburgh@gmail.com. Why not come and join us?
