The Waves represent the Ohio River, denoting the Women’s Club of Newburgh’s location in the community.

The House is a symbol of the heritage of the community whether the house is old or new.

The Oak Tree is a symbol of strength and unselfish giving to the surrounding area.

...ON AGING: Women’s Club of Newburgh supports helping older adults receive services essential to their physical, intellectual, emotional, economic and social well-being.

 

...ON CHILDREN: Women’s Club of Newburgh supports the opportunities and services essential for the physical, intellectual, emotional, economic and social growth of children.

 

...ON CULTURAL & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: Women’s Club of Newburgh supports cultural and economic development in the area, thereby enriching the quality of community life. The club also supports historical preservation efforts in our community.

 

...ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Women’s Club of Newburgh is committed to supporting programs to eliminate domestic violence.

 

...ON EDUCATION: Women’s Club of Newburgh supports efforts to ensure that all people have access to an education that will provide them with the skills needed to be productive members of our society.

 

...ON THE ENVIRONMENT: Women’s Club of Newburgh is committed to improving the quality of life by supporting and participating in efforts to protect and restore our natural resources.

 

...ON SUBSTANCE ABUSE: Women’s Club of Newburgh opposes the use of illegal drugs, the misuse of legal drugs, and the abuse of alcohol. The club supports programs that educate the public regarding substance abuse treatment and prevention.

 

...ON VOLUNTEERISM: Women’s Club of Newburgh supports volunteerism as an essential tool for the growth of our community.
